Eddy was exceptional, professional, clean and definitely knew his job. I am Analytical and asked a lot of questions. He was excellent and walked me through everything. As for pricing you can find cheaper places but you don't want to get a bargain deal when it comes to plumbing. It's not done right and you end up with more problem later.

We had an emergency gas shutoff due to a leak found by the utility company.

Thankful the leak detected. It was 14 Degrees outside when our service was shut off. Called Essential Plumbing & Heating Services, they immediately dispatched a plumber right of way. Was fortunate enough to speak with a Plumber, Eddy, who is an integral part of saving the day. His experience was immediately recognized by the way he approached it problem. We walked me through the gas system together and he was very helpful in pointing out information that was relevant to our problem.

Eddys experience, professionalism, way he managed his teammate, and managed our expectations. The office manager, scheduler and owner were also engaged to help manage the process. We appreciate the way Essential  addressed our concerns. We would highly recommend this company again.

Everyone who has done work and come to assess the issues have been great. They explain everything and are quick. Everything is done and then cleaned up by them. I will definitely use them for any plumbing issues and recommend them to everyone.

 I had such an awesome experience with this company my ancient hot water circulator pump broke and a technician (Eddy) was sent out to me the very next day. The owner Eddy went the extra mile and personally offered me help on how to temporarily shut off the pump. Eddie M. is my go-to plumber! This time he fixed two annoyances - a loud bang in my bathroom and an outside spigot that leaked and was impossible to turn. He diagnosed what was needed for the noise fix for both the toilet and the sink, but the parts had to be ordered. He then checked the outside spigot even though the outside water was not yet turned on. Once the parts came in, he came - back right on time - and fixed the bathroom with the new parts. The outside spigot required finding the pipes in a garage wall and then adding an access panel. The first spigot leaked once I turned the outside water on, so he had me turn off the water and then he put a different spigot on. He refused to consider the job complete until I was absolutely happy that I could turn the spigot (arthritis) and that it no longer dripped. Thoroughly professional and very exacting, plus a really nice fellow.

Eduardo M had a exceptional work ethic and knowledge to fix our gas heat. He worked hard and did not give up until it was done. I feel he is special because he knows his work inside and out and is honest. This is rare in this day and age.

Highly recommended. I placed a service call and got an immediate response, with a follow up call within the hour on when the plumber would be on-site. Eduardo M was very knowledgeable and professional in diagnosing the problem (a water softener past its service life), suggesting a solution (a more modern and effective replacement) and giving me a transparent price quote before doing any work. The work was very prompt and professional, and Eduardo was very thoughtful and informative about what collateral issues (iron in the well water and shocking the well) might affect the water quality from the new softener. When I had a leak in a baseboard radiator a week later, Essential sent Eduardo M, who was once again a champ. Showed up on time, listened, offered options, gave me a quote and had the new radiator element in place in short order, plus offered valuable advice on purging the heating lines that fed the radiator. I am a very satisfied customer.

Eddie did a great job. He was knowledgeable patient went beyond the Call of Duty to accommodate me and make sure my hot water came back.

I had my annual inspection recently. Eduardo was on time and thorough. I had a few concerns about my plumbing and he took the time to look into them and together we made a plan for how to best address each issue.

Eddie did a fabulous job for us! We had to replace our kitchen faucet and filtration system. After waiting several weeks for the parts to arrive, Eddie was here to do the work. He identified some parts that were missing, and after speaking to Best Plumbing, he went to pick up the parts at the plumbing supply, and returned to finish the job! This past winter we had a leak in our shower. Upon further investigation we also found we had a leak in the main water valve for the house. Eduardo fix the leak in the shower and then went to work on the main valve.

He pushed back other appointment to make sure he fixed the leak in the main water valve. I called the town and they had to come to shut the water off at the street so Eduardo could do his work. Eduardo help the people from the town dig out the valve on the street.

He was extremely helpful. We have had other plumbers in the past but my wife and I really like working with Eduardo. We felt he really cared about get the job done well and would not leave until we were satisfied. Highly recommended!

My old water heater was dying. Eddy the plumber was great. He gave me several options. He replaced the old one and cleaned up afterwards. They do good work!!

Eddie and his team (sorry if I misspelled it) did the work. Eddie saved me money about 4 times, e.g. not needing to replace a shower pan, long story. He saved me money by shortening his work time, by not replacing the sink drain that goes with the faucet, because it matches well enough and works, and reminded me to save it for future use if needed. He did the initial estimate and gave a minimum and maximum amount, so that I wouldn't be surprised. He ended up charging the minimum, even though he had to go out and buy a part during the work, because the 4 types he brought with him weren't right. It's a week later as I write, and everything works and looks better! I have no personal connection to this company but will definitely use the again.

Eddy is a fantastic technician who went above and beyond the norm today on the Sunday of a holiday weekend. I can't thank him enough for coming out, doing more than what was asked, and keeping a smile when the problem proved to be a bigger mess than anticipated. He kept his composure, kind demeanor, and he got the job done. I can't say enough about his skill and professionalism.

Efficient and friendly service. Had a leak in my basement late in the evening and Eduardo M came and helped in a timely manner. Service provided was outstanding -- leak stopped and problem fixed the next day in the morning. They even explained how to avoid same problem from happening again and what to do for the next emergency!

I have recently used Essential Plumbing & Heating Services for multiple things. First, they performed annual maintenance on my Navien unit. Eddy was my technician, and he was fantastic -- professional, personable, and happy to answer all of my questions. Next, I had two sinks repaired. Eddy M. was my technician, and he was equally as fantastic. Eddy had to come back yet again to replace a faulty valve in my heating system, and again after that to replace a faulty part in my Navien.

His knowledge and expertise were truly impressive to me. In all, this is a great company, and they will always get somebody out to you quickly. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for! Highly recommended.

June 12, 2018. We would like to share our great experience with Eduardo M. He came in this morning to provide an estimate of replacing a downstairs kitchen faucet. After accepting the estimate and asking him to proceed with the work, he was professional, courteous, friendly and very efficient. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and he had all of the necessary hardware in his van. No need to wait for him to make trips to the "warehouse". We would definitely trust him to do future work in our home again.

We've been using Essential Plumbing & Heating Services for several years now, with invariably excellent results. Prices are fair--particularly with discounts included in the modestly priced service contract--and the products installed have proven to be of high quality. The technicians are uniformly professional, prompt, highly competent, diligent and exceptionally hardworking. For our most recent repair and installation, I particularly want to thank and acknowledge the extraordinary work by Eduardo M. This is the second time he's done plumbing for us and on both occasions his work has soared well over and above reasonable expectations: both jobs turned out to be more difficult and time-consuming than anticipated (for instance, when he turned off a valve the entire, very old, pipe broke off in his hand!), but he charged only his original estimate.

Of particular note: both installations a bathroom sink and, earlier, new toilet) have been necessary to accommodate my 96 year old mom's changing physical limitations. I'm very grateful that Eduardo has been completely attuned to mom's needs (finding, say, the optimal height and depth for the sink), sensitive in helping her navigate terminology and the differences between products, and refreshingly non-ageist in respecting her ability to make her own decisions. He even went beyond the call by carefully removing and re-positioning some of the existing wall tiles so that she didn't incur any additional costs.

Eddie was an excellent plumber, very knowledgeable and efficient. He solved a problem with my toilet within minutes and then moved on to answer all of my questions about the pros and cons of tankless and tank water heaters. I had done my research but wanted to hear from a professional. He had substantial experience installing and servicing both and seemed to know everything about them. He made me feel very comfortable about my decision and he installed my water heater with no hitches, tested it and went on his way. I highly recommend him.

I wrote a fantastic review for Eduardo but I couldn't send it. This is the work they did: Removed old laundry sink and installed new laundry sink with new Crome laundry faucet and new Drain assembly. They installed new washing machine drain line using 2" pvc pipe and 2" pvc tubular P -trap. They removed and replaced main water shut off valve, after digging in the mud to find Yonkers water main in my back yard and replaced my mulch and bricks. Fantastic job.
